Several eXtyles users have reported a problem where eXtyles can sometimes run Advanced Processing successfully, but if any process adds Word comments, then the process hangs without returning the pop-up dialog box reporting on those comments.

This problem is most likely caused by a corrupted Office or Windows update. Some eXtyles users were able to resolve the problem with the following solution:

Revert the Office version by uninstalling to a version from before this problem occurred. This may require uninstalling multiple Office updates. You can then run a repair to update Word to the newest build with a clean install.
