Team Member

A Team Member who is not a Manager or Organization lead can

  • Process references through Edifix
  • Set the parameters of their Edifix jobs: job title, editorial style, PubMed and Crossref Correction and Linking, whether to process book references, and whether to remove line breaks
  • View members of their own Team on the Team Overview page
  • View their own recent jobs via Account>Previous Jobs or on the Team Overview page
  • Export their Edifixed references or copy them to the clipboard
  • Update or change their own email address, name, Edifix username, location, default job settings, and email preferences via Account>Settings 

A Team Member who is not a Manager or Organization Lead cannot

  • Create a new Team, delete a Team, or change the name of their own Team
  • Make changes to another Team Member's information
  • Make changes to any Team setting
  • View or change subscription information for the organization
  • Change any user's role, including their own
  • Add, delete or deactivate/activate Team Members on their own or another Team

Manager

A Manager can

  • Process references through Edifix
  • Set the parameters of their Edifix jobs: job title, editorial style, PubMed and Crossref Correction and Linking, and Advanced settings (remove line breaks, process book references)
  • Set or change Team defaults for Edifix jobs
  • Change the name of their own Team
  • Choose how to view and copy or export Edifixed references for each job
  • View members of their own Team on the Team Overview page
  • View their own recent jobs via Account>Previous Jobs or on the Team Overview page
  • View all team members' recent jobs via Account>Previous Jobs or on the Team Overview page
  • Update or change their own email address, name, Edifix username, location, default job settings, and email preferences via Account>Settings
  • Promote any Team Member on their Team to a Manager or demote another Manager to a Team Member via the Team Overview page
  • Update or change Team defaults such as default editorial style
  • Deactivate, reactivate, add, and remove Team Members via the Team Overview page
  • Receive email notifications when the organization's Edifix subscription is expiring soon or the reference allowance is running low 

A Manager cannot

  • Create a new Team or delete a Team
  • Make changes to another Team Member's profile information
  • Update or change Organization defaults such as default editorial style
  • View or change subscription information for the organization
  • Authorize overage charges

Organization Lead

An Organization Lead can

  • Process references through Edifix
  • Set the parameters of individual Edifix jobs: job title, editorial style, PubMed and Crossref Correction and Linking, and Advanced settings (remove line breaks, process book references)
  • Choose how to view and copy or export Edifixed references for each job
  • View members of their own Team on the Team Overview page
  • View their own recent jobs via Account>Previous Jobs
  • Create a new Team, delete an existing Team, or change the name of any Team
  • View all Teams' recent jobs on the Team Overview page
  • Update or change their own email address, name, Edifix username, location, default job settings, and email preferences via Account>Settings
  • Change any Team Member on their Team to a Manager, or change another Manager to a Team Member via the Team Overview page
  • Update or change Team defaults such as default editorial style
  • Update or change Organization defaults such as default editorial style
  • Deactivate, reactivate, add, and remove Team Members via the Team Overview page
  • View all subscription information for the Organization, including reference allowance, references remaining, and overage charges incurred
  • Request a quote for a different subscription tier for the Organization
  • Request that Inera enable or disable overage charges
  • If overage charges are enabled with notifications, authorize overage charges incurred by Team Members and Managers

An Organization Lead cannot

  • Make changes to any Team Member's profile information
  • Manually change subscription information for the organization
  • Manually enable overage charges for the organization
